AMD Duron

Duron是美国AMD公司的一种为x86计算机平台而设的微处理器，属于AMD的第七代(K7)处理器，其中文官方名称为“钻龙”，根据其英文发音被俗称为“毒龙”。

Duron 发展史

为了与竞争对手Intel争夺低端市场份额，2000年6月，AMD在Athlon处理器基础上简化而来推出了Duron处理器。AMD前后共发布了基于Spitfire(烈火)、Morgan、Applebred 3种核心的Duron处理器。 AMD已于2004年停产Duron处理器，Duron正式走入历史。其市场地位由AMD公司推出的Sempron处理器接任。

Duron 特性

Duron处理器采用Socket A接口，拥有64KB全速L2 cache。

Spitfire核心的Duron处理器采用0.18微米工艺，使用100 MHz外频，支持3D Now!技术。频率为600 MHz至950 MHz。
Morgan核心的Duron处理器同样采用0.18微米工艺，使用100 MHz外频，支持3D Now!、SSE技术。频率为1000 MHz至1300 MHz。
Applebred核心的Duron处理器同样采用0.13微米工艺，使用133 MHz外频，支持3D Now!、SSE技术。频率有1400 MHz、1600 MHz、1800 MHz三种型号。
