GoLive与Dreamweaver
Adobe GoLive以前主要的竞争对手是Macromedia Dreamweaver，后来Adobe公司收购Macromedia，两个软件被纳入一家公司。因为Dreamweaver的市场占有率较大及架构较成熟，市场猜测Adobe可能会放弃GoLive的开发。也有人由Adobe第一次发布GoLive的中文版CS2，可能暗示将大力推广GoLive，故猜测GoLive会代替Dreamweaver。
