Microsoft Windows 1.0是微软第一次对个人电脑操作平台进行用户图形界面的尝试。Windows 1.0基于MS-DOS操作系统。 Microsoft Windows 1.0是Windows系列的第一个产品，于1985年开始发行。 当时很多人认为Microsoft Windows 1.0只是一个低劣的产品。当时最好的GUI电脑平台是GEM。另外一个选择是Desqview/X。Microsoft Windows 1.0在1987年由新发行的Microsoft Windows 2.0取代。
